Technical issues with UK airports e-gates, which process international passengers, caused chaos for a few hours not too long ago. Thankfully, the systems are back on, and the process is back to normal. Interestingly, something similar happened last year in May as well, when the airports in the UK faced glitches with their passport e-gates.
