Lufthansa Group CEO Carsten Spohr has revealed he is confident that the German carrier will receive its first Boeing 777-9 in early 2027. Lufthansa is to be the launch customer of the aircraft, which was originally supposed to be delivered in 2020. Spohr made the comments in response to a question from Simple Flying at the airline’s annual press conference held in Frankfurt, Germany.
