Telefónica Tech sells Colombia, Mexico and Chile units

Senegal’s three mobile operators have reportedly agreed to lower telecoms service costs – potentially as soon as later this week – in response to the government’s call to deal with longstanding complaints from consumers on the issue.

Veon subsidiary Jazz secured a PKR75 billion (US$270 million) loan to finance plans to expand infrastructure across Pakistan, and aid plans to transition from a telco to a technology services company.

As 4G delays and subscriber losses continue, it has been reported that the Indian government is looking at ways to improve operational efficiencies in state-owned operator BSNL to enhance its competitiveness.
