Eight-year-old Austin from the UK paused his train-spotting hobby three months ago after a peer mocked his passion, as shared by his father on the X account
@ukrailadventure. The November 15 post received over 3,300 engagements, with rail enthusiasts offering encouragement, sharing personal stories, and even inviting Austin for cab tours.
The family reports that Austin’s enthusiasm has returned stronger, highlighting community support against childhood bullying.

Australia is no different in this sense.
There are people on social media who have extremely weak personalities and in a move to compensate for that take delight in putting down others in an attempt to boost their pathetically small ego’s.
I have seen it over the past 2 years I have been blogging and it must stop. There are those in the community who seek power (they could be a member of a railway preservation society or a blogger) and in that power they seek to rise above others who share likeminded interests in the amazing hobby that is to appreciate railways and trains. They take comfort in the ridicule of others to make themselves feel better.

It seem a case in some people as Narcissistic traits…..
It seem when one obtains a great amount of followers and contacts some in influential postions…
It seem easy for some people to forget we once came to earth knowing nothing and seeked mentors or kind people in the profession willing to share their experience in the their field or trade to enlightenment of how to understand how these machinery operated and what was involved in keeping them rolling…..
It goes beyond uni Certifiation and education…..it showing humanity and compassion to the people doing the best with the card they are dealt in their life…..as only cruel hearted people will kick person when they are down!
People are too afraid to call this behaviour because peer group pressure to be in with crowd.
If you see one being bullied if you in a postion of strength one and one geniunely ask for help to improve themselves one should lift them up help not kick them out the way!
