Most Victorians oppose a treaty with Aboriginal groups

A recent poll found a majority of Victorians oppose a treaty between the Victorian Government and Victorian Aboriginal groups.

Like us, many Victorians know a treaty is not the best way to achieve meaningful outcomes for our Indigenous communities.

The Liberals and Nationals are committed to Closing the Gap – not through symbolism, but through real, practical action.

We will work alongside Indigenous communities to deliver better outcomes for all Victorians.

    1. Err Brad,

That Jacinta Allen and other state permiers has done the same…..did a Treaty or Voice and forced in Stealth….Fed Level it was against, but the gutless PM looks the other way even the voice is defeated and allows the states to do it anyway from a state level!!!

I was told if state law is inconsistent with Fed laws the later will prevail….
