Tom Elliott goes head-to-head with city protester following day of violence

Tom Elliott has had his say on Sunday’s violent CBD protests, saying the city was losing millions each week as locals stay away.

The 3AW Mornings host believes Melbourne’s reputation continues to be trashed internationally as a result of the shocking scenes, which have since been widely condemned by police.

“I’m hearing (these protests) are costing millions of dollars of lost revenue every single Sunday,” Tom said.

Tom was also joined by Anneke, who organised one of the counter-protests outside Parliament House.

I am no fan of Tom Elliot, he is a control freak advocating for restrictive protesting and reducing our democratic rights. He only talks about stopping people’s rights to rally about their causes and looks down on those who do.

Tom Elliott wants this despite among 50,000 people there were a few who were trouble makers. The focus should be on those who have caused the issues not those who are doing the right thing.

Melbourne’s CBD is quite safe. The media has an unhealthy focus on the very few incidents that are happening in the CBD. Elliott focuses again on the international reputation but himself draws focus on the negativity.

  1. Tim Elliott is a one truck pony. Only knows how to attack current events he is tired and bigoted. He is calling for permits to exercise a democratic right. Who the hell is he to decide that?

Hates public transport and rail projects. Loves the failing liberal party.
