Russia’s flag carrier, Aeroflot, is rumored to be dismantling multiple Boeing aircraft for parts to keep the rest of its passenger fleet flying. It’s not too surprising given western sanctions. As reported by AeroTime, the Russian carrier will dismantle eight Boeing aircraft, which are expected to be transferred from Volga-Dnepr, under a contract valued at around ten billion Russian Rubles ($130 million).
