Or more accurately, a depraved, shameless, woke traitor who has just shattered whatever scraps of justice this country had left. The facts of the case are horrifyingly clear.
In December 2024, a 17-year-old girl was lured from a Westfield Shopping Centre and subjected to a prolonged, depraved sexual assault in her own car. Over several hours, three individuals, including a 19-year-old Adam Abdul-Hamid (subject of this case), joined the attack.
The cruelty was compounded by the attackers filming the entire ordeal for their amusement.
Abdul-Hamid, who is the only accused named publicly (because he is over 18), is alleged to have used a hairbrush as a weapon in the assault. Charged with five counts of aggravated sexual assault, Abdul-Hamid was then denied bail twice by magistrates who live in the real world where actions have consequences and victims deserve protection.
These magistrates saw the obvious: he was an “unacceptable risk to society” and kept him locked up.
Then entered Justice Dhanji, striding in from the rarefied, detached world of woke jurisprudence where the only sin is being insufficiently lenient to perpetrators. Yesterday, he arrogantly overturned the lower courts’ wisdom and released Abdul-Hamid on bail, even giving him the right to go back to work at a barbershop.
In this insane judge’s warped, ideologically-driven calculus, the “prospects of rehabilitation” for a man accused of participating in the gang rape of a child evidently outweigh the fundamental right of the girl to feel safe in her own community.
This is the end result of a woke mindset that pathologises criminality as a societal failure, absolving individuals of monstrous acts and sacrificing the innocent at the altar of misguided empathy.
