An Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle and a family car in Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, on Sunday afternoon, killing Hezbollah operative Mohammad Majed Marwa and four U.S. citizens from the Sharara family: father Shadi Sobhi Sharara, 42, and his children Celine, 8, Hadi, 5, and Assil, 2.
The mother, Fatima Sharara, 38, remains in critical condition, while their 10-year-old daughter Noor suffered severe injuries; the Lebanese-American family from Michigan was visiting relatives.
Lebanese officials condemned the attack as a ceasefire violation, and the Israel Defence Forces acknowledged the operation, expressing regret for the civilian casualties while stating the incident is under review.
