Icelandair plays an important and growing role between Europe and the US/Canada. It is the 10th largest non-stop operator, behind United, Delta, American, British Airways, Air Canada, Air France, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, and Air Transat. According to the latest schedules via OAG, Icelandair has a record 164 weekly flights each way in August, smashing the previous high in 2018 by 9%.
