Scales Composites’ (a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman) Model 351 Stratolaunch (called “Roc”) is a one-of-a-kind aircraft built as a mobile launch system. The aircraft has one wing and two otherwise unconnected fuselages with two cockpits. Everything about this aircraft is remarkable, including that it was partly built from two stripped-down ex-United Airlines Boeing 747-400s.
