Qatar Airways, one of the leading airlines in the Middle East, operates a robust network of international flights from its home in Doha. However, utilizing the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000, it operates the world’s longest flight with the aircraft type and the airline’s longest route overall, Doha to Auckland. Auckland is home to several ultra-long-haul routes, including from close competitor Emirates, but also on routes operated by Air New Zealand and Qantas to New York JFK.
