Last week, a United AirlinesBoeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft was forced to return to Newark less than an hour into what should have been a long overnight flight to South Africa. The reason for this was a report of smoke in the cabin, which prompted the pilots to stop their climb and dump fuel before returning to Newark.
