The Boeing 777X promises to be a game-changing aircraft, with its advanced technology and high capacity offering airlines a fuel-efficient way of transporting hundreds of passengers across the world. However, despite the hype, the 777X program, made up of two passenger variants (the 777-8 and 777-9), has been plagued by delays and setbacks. Originally due to enter commercial service in 2020, it now looks more likely to happen in 2026.
