5th Boeing 777-9 Makes Its First Flight

The Boeing 777X program continues to make progress. After nearly five years, a brand new Boeing 777-9 has made its maiden flight at Paine Field Airport. This is the fifth 777-9 test aircraft, and Boeing has been preparing it for this occasion since July. Furthermore, Boeing is advancing towards the plane’s certification, with entry-into-service (EIS) targeted for 2026.
