Why Do Only 11 Airlines Fly The Airbus A380?

The Airbus A380 is one of the world’s most well-known aircraft. The A380 is the world’s largest passenger airliner and is also the only full-length double-deck jet airliner, since the Boeing 747 features only a partial double-deck. Originally, Airbus first began researching the program in the late 1980s, specifically to rival the Boeing aircraft. However, the project was not officially launched by Airbus until late 2000, with the project totaling nearly $11 billion.
