At New York JFK Airport, there is the TWA Hotel, which brings to life the TWA Flight Center historic terminal. The terminal, completed in 1962, was a nod to mid-century design, and was hailed as a masterpiece of modern engineering at its time, and brought glamour and excitement to travel through the 1960s.
