WA looks to bolster Broome tourism with discounted flights

The move by the state government follows the news that Jetstar Asia will be shuttered from the end of this month, ending an A320 service that linked Broome to Singapore.

Complementing its existing lounge in the international terminal, Plaza Premium Group’s new lounge in Adelaide’s domestic terminal opened this week. The company also operates international lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

Tickets are now on sale under the agreement, which was approved by the ACCC in June and sees Virgin place its VA code on trans-Tasman Air New Zealand flights originating and sold in Australia, provided Air New Zealand sets the fares.
