Australia needs clarity. If the PM responsible for Robodebt can be rewarded, nothing is off limits. If we don’t speak up, we are silently agreeing to live in a nation where cruelty is policy and honour is survival at the top.
Media in Australia plays a big part of the problem that Robodebt can be ignored and cruel actions may be rewarded. Misinformation and huge media bias continue to spread.
Yet another example of how insidious and deep moral disengagement runs in our institutions. These rewards must be scrapped.
