Railway vehicle manufacturer Alstom has picked up two gongs at the Young Rail Professionals (YRP) Awards 2026 – one for a long-serving employee, and the other for The Greatest Gathering.
Rolling stock manufacturer Alstom and ATM Group (Azienda Trasporti Milanesi), have announced that they have formed a “strategic joint venture” to bid for the Luas operations and maintenance (O&M) contract in Dublin, Ireland.
The first of 36 new Class 730/2 trains built by Alstom in Derby for London Northwestern Railway entered service yesterday, Monday, 9 June.
