The transcontinental US domestic route from Detroit, Michigan to Los Angeles, California is one that Delta Air Lines is currently serving six times a day on a scheduled basis. These flights take around five hours, with the Atlanta-based US legacy carrier and SkyTeam founding member favoring narrowbody twinjets such as the Airbus A321-200 and the Boeing 737-900ER to operate most of these flights.
