Another South London station now has step-free access

The latest railway station to have step-free access funded by the Department for Transport’s ‘Access for All’ scheme is Petts Wood in South London.

Octavius to Work on Second c2c Station

To allow for improved access to Southend East station, Network Rail has contracted Octavius for the second time.

From 22nd September until summer 2026, Batley station car park will be closed while it undergoes major upgrade work.
