The Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces have resumed flying the Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey after a US Air Force CV-22 crashed off of Japanese shores on November 29, 2022. Japan is currently the only foreign operator of any member of the V-22 tilt-rotor family.
