Many different full-service network carriers operate on the European continent, with many flying to hundreds of different destinations worldwide. Due to the compact nature of European air travel markets, the vast majority of major international airlines in Europe operate flights exclusively from a single major connecting hub, with maybe a couple of side hubs that have just a few services. There are some notable exceptions to this statement, one of which is the subject of this piece.
