Miami International Airport (MIA) is one of the busiest airports in the US when measured by passenger numbers, processing more than 55 million passengers in 2024. Last year was the busiest year on record for the airport, surpassing its pre-pandemic peak by more than ten million passengers, and almost doubling the passenger numbers seen in the early 2000s.
