7 Airlines That Flew The Massive Boeing 377 Stratocruiser

The Boeing 377 Stratocruiser was one of the last great long-range airliners developed by Boeing before the jet age. The Stratocruiser was developed from Boeing’s B-29 Superfortress (the most expensive military project in WWII) and was developed into the C-97 Stratofreighter (77 of these were built for the Air Force). The aircraft is famous for its distinctive shape, two decks, and seating capacity of up to 100 passengers.
