Boeing Considers Purchasing Supplier Spirit Aerosystems

US Aircraft manufacturer Boeing is reportedly looking into making steps to acquire a key supplier in a move to consolidate its supply chain and increase safety across its production processes. Spirit AeroSystems, which provides parts for the Boeing 737 MAX program, was spun off from Boeing in 2005.
