Why Turkish Drone Maker Baykar Acquired Italy’s Piaggio Aerospace

On December 27, 2024, the Italian Ministry of Business and Made in Italy gave the green light to the acquisition of Piaggio Aerospace (experienced in manufacturing aircraft and engines) by the Turkish defense company Baykar, after it became the final winner of the international tender.
