Horizon Air Embraer E175 Forced To Return To Anchorage After Engine Ingests Eagle

A Horizon Air plane operating for Alaska Airlines out of Anchorage, Alaska, had to turn back shortly after takeoff due to a bird strike. Such incidents are not so uncommon and airplanes are often forced to turn around due to fear of structural damage, particularly if the bird has been ingested by the engine.
