On December 24th, 2024, Vancouver International Airport (YVR) announced that a five-day strike had been reached between the facility’s sanitation staff and their employer, Alpine Building Maintenance. This announcement was made just hours before Christmas, bringing much-needed relief to passengers who would be traveling over the next ten days throughout the holiday period.
