US Air Force Leaves Fate Of NGAD Fighter Jet Program Up To Trump Administration

The United States Air Force has stated that the fate of its sixth-generation fighter jet program (NGAD) will hinge on the incoming Trump administration. For a while now, the service has been having second thoughts about the wisdom of pursuing a manned sixth-generation fighter. That said, the Air Force is enthusiastically pursuing Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) or loyal wingman drone development as part of the larger program.
