Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) has been a talk of the aviation industry for several years. With manufacturers and airlines figuring out how to be more efficient, SAF has been at the forefrant of the conversation. Several years ago, at the International Air Transport Association ( IATA) Annual General Meeting, member airlines passed a resolution committing to a net-zero carbon emissions goal by 2050.
