From Monday 19 to Friday 23 February, engineers on the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) worked around the clock in Morley and Dewsbury to complete key upgrades, bringing passengers one step closer to faster, greener and more reliable trains between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York.
