Airbus Delivers 1st H145M Light Combat Helicopter To German Armed Forces

The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) have taken delivery of its first Airbus H145M helicopter (formerly Eurocopter EC145) out of up to 82 ordered by Germany. The H145M is a twin-engine light utility helicopter with a lineage tracing back to the MBB/Kawasaki BK 117 C1. Airbus, through its Airbus Helicopters Division, is one of the most important military helicopter makers in the world (and especially in Europe).
