In August 2024, the first EA-37B Compass Call aircraft were delivered to the United States Air Force. These wide-area airborne electromagnetic attack aircraft built on the Gulfstream G550 are gradually replacing the aging EC-130 Compass Call (built on the Hercules). The EC-130s are being phased out while the EA-37Bs are being worked up (nine of fourteen EC-130s have been retired so far).
