No-Fooling: United Airlines Schedules One-Time Boeing 767 167-Seat Flight From Washington Dulles To Newark On April 1st

United Airlines is selling tickets on the one-time itinerary.

Its North American peak summer flights are at a record level.

The route is indeed unusual, but it is strategically scheduled.

United Airlines said the decision was made following a detailed assessment and close work with its unions.

A former Chicago controller recalled staffing shortages occurred when they “retired 17 years ago.”

All but three are new to United’s network.

Only one non-US entry made the cut.

The type’s network in February involves 116 airports and 310 routes.

While it was originally summer seasonal and then year-round, the airline has confirmed that it will now be winter seasonal.

The carrier’s busiest domestic route from San Francisco International Airport will see 302 flights in each direction in January 2025.
