Rail minister Peter Hendy has given his personal support to the Rother Valley Railway (RVR) Heritage Trust’s £350,000 Buildings Appeal, which was launched last month.
Following its appearance at the Kent and East Sussex Railway’s July Diesel Gala, Class 205 Unit No 1118 will be remaining at the railway for the foreseeable future.
At the regional Muddy Stilettos Awards, the Kent & Sussex Railway (K&SR) has been voted Best Family Experience in Kent.
