Juneyao Airlines Launches Boeing 787-9s Shanghai To Melbourne

China’s Juneyao Airlines has chosen Melbourne Airport to launch its Australian Boeing 787-9 services.

The Chicago-based carrier said it is working to accommodate displaced passengers.

Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9 features a new “mini-QSuite” business cabin.

The route, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, has a stopover in Auckland, New Zealand.

Chinese travel to New Zealand is bouncing back, with Christchurch Airport announcing the return of China Southern for the 2024/2025 summer.

The carrier will offer several thousand fewer seats than initially planned.

The aircraft declared an emergency and landed safely at Paris Charles De Gaulle shortly after.
