London Heathrow is Europe’s busiest airport. Among its other claims to fame, it has the fourth-highest number of flights to the Middle East after Cairo, Istanbul Airport, and Mumbai. Many passengers connecting to other flights via the Gulf hubs help. This market is also actively targeted by Oman Air, which will increase Heathrow flights to 11 weekly in the upcoming winter (October 26-March 29). While a long way off, it has also stated it’ll have a double daily service next summer, returning to its record last held in 2020.
