Rail regulator the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) said it has approved an application by Grand Union Trains to operate four daily return services between London Euston and the city of Stirling from June 2025.
Grand Union Trains has been given the go ahead to start a new train service between London and Stirling, providing more services between London and Central Scotland.
ScotRail is carrying out trials of a new type of ticket vending machine called a Smart Kiosk that will provide more ticket options and clearer information.
