A transport expert says people are being too hard on the Myki system after Premier Jacinta Allan was grilled by Tony Jones on 3AW Mornings about the system.
A major chunk of the state’s debt comes via Victoria’s infrastructure program, including road projects the $10.2 billion West Gate Tunnel and the $26 billion North East Link, and rail projects the $15.6 billion Melbourne Metro.
Premier Jacinta Allan has taken aim at pro-Palestine protesters who have targeted the Myer Christmas windows, saying their actions are dividing Victoria but “won’t change a thing in the Middle East”.
