The North American Rockwell OV-10 is a short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft designed and developed by North American Rockwell. The aircraft was conceived under the United States military tri-service program. The manufacturer was awarded the contract in 1966, and the first flight took place in August 1967, less than two-and-a-half years later.
