India’s only state-owned carrier, Alliance Air, has been allotted over $100 million in this year’s interim budget, as announced by India’s finance minister. The airline is in debt and also needs money for its everyday operations. Alliance Air offers regional connections throughout the country, with its fleet comprising primarily ATR turboprop aircraft.
