So this isn’t new news, but for frequent flyers – particularly those belonging to the Star Alliance – we thought it would be a particularly interesting development to cover for those who missed it.It was in early February 2025 that the Lufthansa Group officially unveiled its plan to integrate Italian carrier ITA Airways into its organization. This included planned dates to leave SkyTeam and join Star Alliance.
