Amber Kennett, Ashwini Fredrick, Kynan Munday, and India Wallace, as well as one other student who requested not to be named, will receive additional training in specialised piloting skills including search and rescue.
The team, which earlier this year clinched a fifth straight championship at the Military International Drone Racing Tournament in the UK, won the award for its “exceptional contributions to Defence”, as well as its broader mission.
