West Coast Expansion: Avelo Airlines To Open New Base At Sonoma County Airport

After nearly three years of serving Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS), ultra-low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines has announced a new base starting May 1, 2024. Two Boeing 737NGs will initially be stationed in the California airport, and the airline expects to recruit 50 crew members when the base opens. The new recruitment will include pilots, flight attendants, and maintenance technicians.
