Despite Boeing and its Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) division ending Q4 2023 with positive operating margins, the company ended the year with a net loss while also suspending forward-looking guidance. David Calhoun, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Boeing, wrote in a letter to employees that this “is not the time for that,” namely sharing or updating the company’s financial and operational objectives.
