Today, June 6, 2024, marks the 80th anniversary of Operation Overlord AKA D’Day, the Allied invasion of Western Europe that recommenced the liberation of Continental Europe from the tyrannical occupation by Nazi Germany. No amount of superlatives I can type here and now could possibly do justice to the significance of this monumental event.
