USAF Publishes Findings On F-15D Kingsley Field Mishap That Caused Loss of $35 Million Jet

As a F-15D Eagle accident investigation report released June 4 reveals an Oregon Air National Guard F-15D two-seater fighter jet was totaled at a value of $35,536,444, the next day brings delivery of the Oregon Air National Guards first F-15EX. A review of the accident investigation board report shows that the loss of F-15D, T/N 84-0046 had issues with its speed brake and the hydraulic system.
