Train operator London Northwestern Railway has today announced that it is to introduce a new ‘Standard Plus’ ticket which entitles passengers to travel in a carriage which has facilities that Standard Class tickets do not.
Network Rail is warning passengers that the Cross City line between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley will close for nine days this summer.
